In-line annealing for fine and micro wires
The AI120 is our smallest plant series and is specially designed for the continuous heat treatment of very thin wires.
The typical application range starts with round wires having a diameter of approximately
0.05 mm
respectively 50 µm.
This puts the AI120 in the range of conventional fine and micro wires.
In addition to round wire, extremely thin flat wires can also be treated. Depending on the width, material, and process requirements, flat wire thicknesses down to a range of approximately
0.025 mm
respectively 25 µm
possible.
Especially with such small cross-sections, precise power control and controlled wire feeding are crucial.
The AI120 therefore combines contactless inductive energy input with wire guidance, shielding gas guidance, and cooling designed for fine wires.
Typical applications of the AI120
Fine wires, microwires, high-precision round and flat wires, as well as special wires made of copper, copper alloys, and other electrically conductive materials.

Flat wire: thicknesses down to approx. 0.025 mm possible
