Compact in-line annealer for fine wire
The AI170 directly follows the ultra-fine and micro-range of the AI120.
It is for round wires in a range of approximately
0.10 to 0.80 mm
designed.
This makes it particularly suitable for high-speed wire drawing processes and applications where high demands are placed on process stability, surface quality, and reproducible mechanical properties.
The compact design allows for integration into existing production lines.
By directly coupling the annealing power to the current wire speed, the heat treatment can be continuously adjusted to the ongoing drawing process.
Typical wire range
Round wire: approx. 0.10–0.80 mm
Depending on geometry and application, flat wires can also be processed in addition to round wires.
