Repair of induction heating furnaces

The overhaul of induction heating furnaces includes the following scope of services:

• Pointing of concrete
• Rinsing the coil with a descaler
• Leak test of coil and insulation
• Production of new insulation from glass strip
• Double coating and drying
• Baking out the coil
• Mounting the coil
• Replacement of front panels / screens
• Production of a new concrete lining
• Drying
• Checking the insulation

Repair of crucible induction furnaces

The overhaul of crucible induction furnaces includes the following scope of services:

• Pointing of the existing upper crown,
• Dismantling of magnetic shunts and their maintenance,
• Removing the coil from the oven,
• Maintenance of the coil including renewal of the insulation,
• Rinse the coil windings and the short-circuit ring with a descaling agent,
• Tightness tests of the coil winding,
• Sharpening of the existing lower crown,
• Pointing the lower part of the oven,
• Reconditioning of hydraulic cylinders,
• Production of a new lower part of the oven,
• Production of a new lower ring for the oven,
• Assembly of the overhauled coil including insulation,
• Assembly of the magnetic shunts including new insulation,
• Production of the coil plaster,
• Production of the upper wreath,
• Pre-drying of the new brick oven,
• Paint,
• Checking the insulation status of the oven.

Additional services:

• Dismantling of the oven to be overhauled at the client's plant
• Installation of the overhauled oven at the client's factory
• Supervision of ramming and sintering work - 2 days

Implementation conditions: Delivery of templates for the production of ceramic linings together with the kiln and loading of the kiln onto the contractor's means of transportation.
